Thrive: An Ambassador Led Initiative

Thrive is an empowering initiative funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and in partnership with the Mental Health Foundation. Our mission is to foster growth, development, and sustainability in the volunteer offerings at Single Parents Wellbeing (SPW).

Thrive is dedicated to improving the mental health, confidence, and self-esteem of single parents through meaningful volunteer opportunities. Our initiative includes comprehensive training and workshops designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of our volunteers. We are committed to developing and delivering innovative volunteer approaches specifically for single parents, and we aim to share our findings with the broader community.

“I feel I have a purpose and it makes me feel a bit stronger as a person, it makes me feel part of something... [and it] gives me a sense of pride.” SPW Ambassador
