Family Skateboarding Evening at Spit and Sawdust Cardiff | 10th September

PRICE: £5 per family (get in touch if cost is an issue)
LOCATION: Spit & Sawdust, Rhymney River Bridge Road, Cardiff, CF23 9AF
DESCRIPTION OF EVENT: Private hire of Spit and Sawdust on Saturday for Single Parent Families. Bring your own Skateboards or Scooters for a fun filled evening, but please note safety gear (helmet, knee, elbow and wrist pads) must be worn whilst in the skatepark. You can hire equipment on the day, helmets, pads, and skateboards, all £1 each.
Spit and Sawdust do require everyone to have membership and sign up to their T&Cs. This is £1 and can be found on their website, www.spitandsawdust.co.uk/membership-form However, if you’re already a member and have been before, you don’t need to join again.
You can purchase food and drink on the night too. Spit and Sawdust have a great menu including vegan options and kids’ meals that are all delicious and reasonably priced.
For everyone who signs up, we’ll send out pre-event info with how how to pre-order food if you would like to eat on the night.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR: Lizzy aka Practical Strategist is a member of SPW, mum to Theo who is 5 and runs week 5 of our Wellbeing Workshops.
WHAT YOU NEED/ MATERIALS: Skateboard or Scooter and helmet, knee, elbow and wrist pads, (if not hiring from venue)
SUITABLE FOR AGES: The event is ideally for children from 4 years old upwards, but if your child is younger and can confidently ride a scooter feel free to bring them along.
